With the return of Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, the San Antonio Spurs are trying to get back on track to their title contention ways. The San Antonio Spurs lost in the start of the 2008 – 2009 NBA Regular Season when they lost their two star players although Tim Duncan has been very efficient and surprisingly led the San Antonio Spurs to a forgivable record. The San Antonio Spurs probably are the gutsiest team in the NBA despite being undermanned in their first quarter showing. Their age has been at best in check for a not far from the future rebuilding. With Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili back in the line up for the San Antonio Spurs things are certainly looking well for the San Antonio Spurs. Although their basketball match against the Denver Nuggets may come as a realization that their aging roster would not fair that much in the 2009 NBA Playoffs.

The Denver Nuggets on the other side of the basketball court are a rejuvenated team that lost fire power yet has faired pretty well going 12-3 with the addition of ex NBA Finals MVP Chauncey Billups back to the team that started it all for him. Kenyon Martin is going back to his old form despite loosing some of his hops while Carmelo Anthony is definitely not in peek form since dropping a huge number in his shooting percentage. The fact that they lost Marcus Camby in the preseason should’ve been a huge factor for the Denver Nuggets’ gameplay was not at all noticeable.

For the Basketball Betting Community, it is by far better to just look at the standings. The San Antonio Spurs are performing lesser than what they are expected to do while the Denver Nuggets are performing on how they are supposed to when they first got Allen Iverson from the Philadelphia 76ers.
