The Fresno State Bulldogs always wants to play a tough schedule and this year is no exception as they start the 2008 season on Sunday at Rutgers against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Last year Fresno had a difficult non-conference schedule as they lost to Oregon in a blowout and in three overtimes to Texas A&M. The Bulldogs still finished 9-4 and won their bowl game. He has receivers Tiquan Underwood and Kenny Britt returning. The defense for Rutgers last year was excellent, ranking 17th in the country. Those numbers are likely to slip as Rutgers lost a lot of defensive talent in the off-season, although defensive back Courtney Greene does return.
