Well, the Indianapolis Colts have the tough task of going up against the San Diego Chargers on Week 12 at the home field of the San Diego Chargers, who have only lost at home once this season. To make things interesting, the Indianapolis Colts will face the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football, and certainly that hype should add to the pressure for both teams, who are hoping to improve their record to score a chance at a playoff berth.
After the San Diego Chargers, the Indianapolis Colts will still have to face the Cleveland Browns, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Detroit Lions, the Jacksonville Jaguars and will wrap up their season with a showdown against AFC South leaders Tennessee Titans. Expect the Indianapolis Colts to book wins against Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions as those teams haven’t been performing well this season. But then, the Indianapolis Colts will certainly have a tough time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and definitely will have a tough time with the Tennessee Titans on Week 17, unless the Tennessee Titans already clinch a playoff berth, and might choose to play with second and third stringers against the Indianapolis Colts.
Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans don’t really have a breeze through in the last weeks of the NFL regular season. The Tennessee Titans still have tough teams to face with the New York Jets on Week 12, the Pittsburgh Steelers on Week 16 and division-mates Indianapolis Colts on Week 17. However, the Tennessee Titans can expect to win against the winless Detroit Lions, and the struggling Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans through Week 13 to 15.
IN any case, the Tennessee Titans will be expected to have at least 12 wins to their name, enough to win them the AFC South and clinch a playoff berth. More importantly, if the Tennessee Titans end up with the best record of the AFC, then they can be expected to have home field advantage, plus the chance to score a bye up to the second round of the NFL Playoffs.
Winning the NFL Playoffs will be an entirely different subject altogether because even the NFL team with the best NFL regular season might succumb to the pressure of the NFL Playoffs and blow it all in just one game.
As for the other AFC South teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans - better luck next season.
