Now that the dust has settle and questions have been answered, the Boston Celtics are now the newly crowned 2008 NBA Champions.

Who else to blame but Kobe Bryant? Not this time, the reigning NBA Regular Season MVP did everything in his will to push the Boston Celtics to the brink of despair. Sad to say even if Lamar Odom and Pao Gasol were the only other two reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers reached the NBA Finals this year, they were tremendously outmatched and outclassed by the big 3.

Ray Allen has been tagged as already washed up, Kevin Garnett to be choking under pressure, and Paul Pierce to be one big award winning actor. At the end of the day, the only thing that really matters is that the trio came up big when they needed it the most.

Ray Allen made 7 out of 9 three pointers when critics said he lost his shooting touch in the 2008 NBA Playoffs. Just when all hope has faded, like a godly apparition, Ray Allen shot the best game of his career to shutdown the Los Angeles Lakers in 6 games.

Kevin Garnett on the other hand contributed 26 points 14 rebounds 4 assists 3 steals and a blocked shot. Who says “The Big Ticket” or “The Kid” or whatever they call him, has finally reached the slump in a career of a most tortured soul that many predicted would never win a championship.

Although Paul Pierce was a big factor in the Celtic offense, the fairly tale season of a team that already has 17 NBA Championships still lives on. Maybe next year they say.

The 2008 NBA Regular Season MVP, Kobe Bryant was a no show for the Lakers. However the Boston Celtics stood by their statement that winning the NBA Finals would need just one solution. Stop Kobe Bryant from beating us then let the bench and the other starters try to beat us. Fortunately for the Boston Celtics that was the only formula ever needed to stop the Lakers.

Kobe Bryant finished with a total of 22 points 3 rebounds 1 assist 1 steal and 4 turnovers that definitely hurt the Los Angeles Lakers more that he hurt his ego.

Congratulations to the Boston Celtics, to Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen you both deserve this.
