Now that’s what we call exciting!

Well at least for the other golfers. Now that the great Tiger Woods Decides to get surgery on his ailing left knee, the rest of the PGA Tour can now sit back and tell themselves “finally the playing field is even”.

Let’s just say that would be just the tip of the iceberg. Although majority of the players on the PGA Tour are surely aware that when Tiger Woods gets back things are surely not going their way.

The Scary part is, upon the announcement of Tiger Woods’ camp that he will undergo a season ending surgery to his left knee, the unknown part is that he was nursing that very same knee that in fact had a torn ligament for the last 10 months. Basically that means the players are in for some rough seas when Tiger Woods gets back.

“While I am obviously disappointed to have to miss the remainder of the season, I have to do the right thing for my long-term health and look forward to returning to competitive golf when my doctors agree that my knee is sufficiently healthy,” Tiger Woods said. “My doctors assure me with the proper rehabilitation and training, the knee will be strong and there will be no long-term effects.”

Players who played against Tiger Woods have the utmost respect for him.

“When I talk about golf, he doesn’t count,” Rocco Mediate “He’s not normal.”

To date since the detection of a torn ligament in his left knee Tiger Woods has won 9 of 12 PGA tournaments while managing not to drop farther than the fifth place.

Other than that, Tiger Woods also suffered a double stress fracture on his left tibia two weeks before the 2008 US Open.

Who else can beat Tiger Woods?

God, maybe?

Whatever hope there is for the players in the PGA tour is not at all attainable. People of this generation should be thankful for being graced by a golf god in a time were golf was starting to get a bit too boring…

For the betting community, the bets would be a lot easier now that we all had to bank on Tiger Woods. Now that he would miss the rest of the season, lets all put our funds on Stuart Appleby.
